Job summary

SARA Group is seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end import operations, customs clearance and freight activities in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure compliant shipment execution across sea, air and land with focus on regulatory requirements and timely cargo delivery.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on KSA import and customs clearance expertise, strong regulatory knowledge (ZATCA, FASAH, SABER, SASO, SALEEM), and proven ability to coordinate with brokers, shipping lines and

Qualifications

• Hands-on KSA import and customs clearance exposure.
• Strong working knowledge of ZATCA, FASAH, SABER, SASO, SALEEM regulations.
• Experience handling import documentation incl invoices, packing lists, COOs, BLs, AWBs.
• Familiar with HS codes, duties, and Saudi import requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with brokers, forwarders, lines and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import shipments via sea, air and land.
• Coordinate customs clearance and regulatory compliance in Saudi Arabia.
• Handle product registrations and related compliance (SABER, SASO, SFDA when applicable).
• Prepare shipping documents: invoices, packing lists, COOs, BLs, AWBs and certificates.
• Classify HS codes and calculate duties and taxes accurately.
• Coordinate with brokers, forwarders, lines, and authorities for clearance and delivery.
• Monitor ports/border clearance procedures and oversee shipment tracking and issue resolution.
• Monitor freight costs and optimize shipment expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms and international trade controls.
• Maintain shipment records and clearance documentation.

What You ll Do

• Import amp Freight Operations Manage end-to-end import shipments into Saudi Arabia via sea air and land ensuring timely and efficient cargo movement
• Customs Clearance amp Regulatory Compliance Coordinate and manage customs clearance through FASAH ensuring compliance with ZATCA requirements and applicable Saudi import regulations
• Product Compliance amp Registrations Handle SABER SASO requirements SALEEM compliance product registrations and shipment-related certificates
• SFDA Approvals Manage SFDA approvals and clearance requirements for applicable products
• Shipping Documentation Prepare and verify commercial invoices packing lists Certificates of Origin COO Bills of Lading B L Air Waybills AWB and other import documentation
• HS Codes amp Customs Duties Ensure accurate HS code classification customs duty calculations and compliance with applicable import requirements
• Stakeholder Coordination Work directly with customs brokers freight forwarders shipping lines transporters and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth shipment clearance and delivery
• Ports amp Border Operations Manage clearance procedures across Saudi seaports airports and land borders
• Shipment Tracking amp Issue Resolution Monitor shipment progress resolve customs clearance issues and proactively address delays to ensure timely cargo release and delivery
• Freight Cost Management Monitor freight charges customs duties demurrage detention port charges and other shipment-related expenses
• Trade Compliance Ensure compliance with Incoterms international trade regulations and Saudi import procedures
• Reporting amp Documentation Maintain accurate shipment records clearance documentation and daily shipment status reports

What You ll Bring

• Hands-On KSA Import amp Customs Clearance Expertise Practical end-to-end experience managing Saudi import shipments and customs clearance activities on a daily basis
• Regulatory Knowledge Strong working knowledge of ZATCA FASAH SABER SASO SALEEM and applicable Saudi import regulations
• Shipping Documentation Expertise Experience preparing and verifying import documentation HS codes customs duties and shipment-related certificates
• Freight amp Logistics Operations Practical experience coordinating sea air and land shipments including clearance through Saudi ports airports and land borders
• SFDA Compliance Experience handling SFDA approvals and product clearance requirements where applicable
• Problem-Solving amp Execution Ability to independently resolve customs clearance issues shipment delays and regulatory challenges
• Stakeholder Management Strong coordination skills with customs brokers freight forwarders shipping lines transporters and regulatory authorities
• Systems amp Reporting Good Excel ERP reporting documentation and communication skills
• Accuracy amp Attention to Detail Ability to manage multiple shipments while maintaining compliance cost control and operational efficiency

What We re Looking For

• Bachelor s degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field is preferred 3 5 years of relevant logistics import and customs clearance experience in Saudi Arabia
• Current experience in an import logistics customs clearance or freight forwarding role within KSA
• Proven experience independently managing end-to-end import and customs clearance activities
• Experience handling multiple product categories and associated regulatory requirements is preferred
• Strong organizational coordination and problem-solving skills
• A proactive detail-oriented professional who can manage daily shipment operations independently and ensure timely compliant cargo delivery
• Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.3 5 years of relevant logistics, import, and customs clearance experience in Saudi Arabia.
