Apexops in Jeddah is seeking a talented Cake Maker to join our bakery team. The role focuses on preparing, baking, and decorating cakes, pastries, and desserts while upholding high standards of hygiene and presentation.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about baking, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and skilled in fondant and buttercream decoration with a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Cake Maker, Pastry Chef, or Baker.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and cake decoration.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, desserts, and other bakery items.
• Design and decorate cakes according to customer requests and company standards.
• Prepare cake fillings, creams, frostings, and toppings.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Monitor stock levels and inform management of ingredient shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Handle baking equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Assist in developing new cake designs and dessert menu ideas.
