Job summary

Atkins Realis Group in Saudi Arabia seeks a Health and Safety Engineer to oversee HSE implementation during construction of major buildings and hospitality developments, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and international best practices on site.

You will lead safety system deployment, monitor incidents, train teams, and coordinate with contractors and authorities to maintain safe operations across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline with emphasis on health and safety.
• NEBOSH International Diploma or NEBOSH IGC desirable.
• Lead Auditor ISO 45001 preferred.
• Membership in a recognized health and safety body advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Health and Safety Management System on project.
• Ensure contractors comply with health and safety plans and regulatory obligations.
• Promote proactive safety culture through engagement with project teams and contractors.
• Monitor safety performance indicators and recommend improvements.
• Support development and implementation of safety initiatives and awareness programs.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure safe work practices for high-risk activities.
