Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Safety Inspector to oversee occupational safety at construction sites in Riyadh. The role focuses on enforcing HSE guidelines, project safety plans, and legal requirements to prevent incidents and maintain safe working conditions.

You will conduct daily inspections, monitor risk assessments, ensure proper PPE use, and lead toolbox talks while supporting emergency drills and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Safety.
• 3–7 years HSE experience in road or infrastructure projects.
• Certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA preferred.
• Strong hazard identification and reporting skills.
• Good communication and safety leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily HSE inspections of road projects, work zones, and equipment.
• Monitor implementation of risk assessments, method statements, and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Ensure workers use proper PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Identify hazards and unsafe practices; issue corrective actions and follow up.
• Verify compliance with traffic management measures and safe movement of vehicles/machinery.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
• Participate in incident/near‑miss investigations.
• Maintain safety logs, daily reports, and audit documentation.
• Support emergency preparedness and drills.
