Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. is looking for a Commissioning Machinery Supervisor to oversee the commissioning of machinery in oil & gas projects. The role involves developing commissioning procedures, supervising vendor works, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering, at least five years of relevant experience, and extensive HVAC commissioning skills. The contract is fixed term, with accommodation and transportation provided.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in construction/modernization of oil & gas/industrial sector/EPC projects.
• Five (5) years relevant field experience.
• Extensive experience in HVAC Commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed commissioning procedures.
• Prepare relevant Commissioning punch lists.
• Supervise closing of pending Punch List Items.
• Monitor activities following procedures.
• Supervise vendor specialists' works.
• Support vendor specialists in job execution.
• Keep records of activities in logbook.
• Produce certificates and handover to QA/QC.

Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid)

He executes the activities relevant to functionalloop checks and to the interlock/sequence’s functionality checks in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To develop the detailed commissioning procedures for Machinery & Packages and procedures for the functional tests of the machinery.
• To check and prepare relevant Commissioning punch list.
• To supervise closing of pending Punch List Items.
• To monitor and ensure that activities are carried out following the procedures and requirements.
• To supervise the works of vendors’ specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
• To support the Vendors specialists in the execution of the job and coordinate their actions with the Commissioning supervisors.
• To keep records of all activities performed in the logbook.
• To produce the certificates, duly signed by the parties involved, and handover to certification engineer (QA/QC).

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

• University Degree /Equivalent Diploma in Engineering

Experience

• Relevant experience in construction/modernization of oil & gas /industrial sector/ EPC projects large refinery plants.
• Similar role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size.
• Five (5) years relevant field experience.
• Experience working on the Contractor side.
• Extensive experience in HVAC Commissioning.
