Hours/rotation:
Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid)& 2 days traveling (paid). 10 hours per day (including 1 hour break)

- He executes the activitiespertaining to his discipline in compliance with the quality requirements,health/environmental/safety regulations and following the statedprocedures.
- He reports to theCommissioning Electrical Superintendent (CET)
- He is assigned to theProject by AVIMP Head of Department.
Duties and responsibilities
- To develop the detailedpre-commissioning procedures for Electrical Items & Packages, proceduresfor the functional tests of the electrical Items according to theinstructions of Commissioning Electrical Superintendent.
- To field check the DAC andprepare relevant Commissioning punch list, following the CME instructions.
- Follow up of activitiesaccording to the schedule and by applying the procedures and safety rules.
- To organize and manage theoperations in field of the assigned team from the Subcontractor bycontrolling their job and the implementation of Plant Safety proceduresin case of emergency.
- To keep records of allactivities performed in the logbook for the purpose of monitoring the progressachieved and apply necessary recovery actions.
- To supervise the activitiesof electrical substation power on and motor run in field. Ensure theapplication of the TAG-OUT/LOCK OUT.
- Support the Vendorsspecialists in the execution of the job and coordinate their actions withthe Commissioning supervisors.
- Supervise the works ofvendors’ specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
- During the execution of theinterlocks, logic and sequence test, check in MCC that all the actionsrequired or actuated from the board operator are properly performed.
- Carry out operation of thestarters as per the approved work permit request
- To ensure that all theactivities are witnessed by the Client, prepare and sign off all
relevant certificates and hand over tocertification engineer.
- Can be the authorizedperson designated by the site manager to receive or issue a Permit.
- Work according to theproject Permit to Work Procedure.
- In charge for:
- Expediting of pending Punch List Items inaccordance with Commissioning
Knowledge & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a safety-related role,preferably within the construction or oil and gas industry.
- Relevant experience in 3 major EPC projects; oil & gas,petrochemical sector.
