Job summary

NEW Alfa International is seeking a capable Lead – Civil Construction to supervise on-site activities at project sites. The role focuses on coordinating with trades, ensuring HSE, QA/QC, and adherence to cost and time plans while aligning with local authorities' requirements.

The candidate will oversee planning, manpower and equipment, mentor site engineers and foremen, and contribute to daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture.
• 3-5 years in buildings construction with exposure to structural concrete and facades.
• Active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Experience in KSA and GCC.
• Arabic and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan baseline and lookahead schedules with manpower and equipment histograms.
• Supervise civil construction activities on site and manage resources.
• Coordinate with other trades teams and with logistics.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports; track productivity and costs.
• Mentor site engineers and foremen; ensure safety and quality.

Job description

Role Purpose

Lead the construction resources and manage the construction works related to civil activities while coordinating with other trades and complying with HSE, QA/QC, cost and time plans and with local authorities requirements.

Work Location: Project Site

Key Responsibilities

• Planning:
  1. Contribute to the preparation of the baseline s and lookahead schedules.
  2. Contribute to the preparation of manpower and equipment histograms
• Construction:
  1. Supervise the civil construction activities on site.
  2. Manage in-house construction resources, monitor and control their productivity, ensure compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
  3. Coordinate with other trades teams,
  4. Coordinate the civil works logistics with the CM and Logistics Supervisor.
• Reporting:
  1. Contribute to the daily, weekly and monthly reports preparation
  2. Contribute to the productivity and cost related reports
• Others:
  1. Prepare timely requests for material and other requirements for related activities as per the company procedures
  2. Manage and mentor site engineers and foremen.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree in engineering or architecture (mandatory).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in buildings construction, with strong exposure to structural concrete and facades (curtain wall and stone cladding).
• Active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Experience in KSA and GCC.
• Arabic and English communication skills.
