Role Description

The Barista role at Third Vision CO (SCULPTURE) is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, handling food preparation tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Daily activities include taking orders, operating coffee machines and other equipment, handling payments, and ensuring all drinks and food items meet quality standards. The role involves engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and providing efficient, courteous service during peak and off-peak hours. The Barista also assists with stock rotation, restocking supplies, and following health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including operating coffee equipment, preparing espresso-based drinks, and following recipes consistently.
• Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills to handle basic food items, follow safety procedures, and maintain cleanliness in food handling areas.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming atmosphere, manage queues, and respond to guest needs professionally.
• Candidates should possess Communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members and follow instructions accurately.
• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or food and beverage environment is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, manage busy shifts, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and POS systems, and familiarity with hygiene and food safety standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; barista or hospitality training is an advantage.
