Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Banquet/Sales Coordinator to deliver exceptional service and assist in creating memorable events. You will coordinate bookings from enquiry to completion, support the Sales team with proposals and contracts, and ensure accurate event details and smooth operations across departments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Hospitality or Business Administration and 1+ years in Sales/Banquets/Events, preferably in a hotel, with strong English communication and

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Sales, Banquets, Events, or similar role, preferably in a hotel.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Coordinating banquet and event bookings from initial enquiry through to completion
• Assisting the Sales team with proposals, contracts, and client correspondence

• Coordinating with Banquet, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth event operations

What We Need from You:

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
• One or more years of experience in Sales, Banquets, Events, or a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Good command of written and spoken English required
