Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff is working together as a team.
• Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify any deficiencies.
• Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met.
• Respond to and fulfill any special banquet event arrangements.
• Set up banquet area/room, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of furniture/equipment.
• Inspect and maintain table set-ups for cleanliness, neatness and group requirements.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating staff.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals.
• Follow safety policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions; complete safety training.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean; protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests; address service needs; assist guests with disabilities.
• Speak clearly and professionally; use proper telephone etiquette.
• Read and verify information in various formats; stand or move for long periods; assist with heavy objects as needed.
