Job summary

EssilorLuxottica Chalhoub is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading all aspects of store operations, with a focus on excellent customer service, sales performance, and coaching the team.

You will step in as acting manager when needed, motivate the team, ensure compliance with brand standards, and contribute to a dynamic, customer-centric retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in optical retail.
• Experience in team coordination or floor leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager to execute the store's action plan and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the brand’s image and values.
• Drive daily team motivation, provide on-the-floor guidance, and ensure seamless operations.
• Assist in scheduling, shift planning, and ensuring proper floor coverage during peak hours.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach by leveraging the CRM database to identify selling opportunities.
• Stay updated on trends, product knowledge, and competitor activity; share insights with the Store Manager.
• Support visual merchandising and stock replenishment in line with brand guidelines.
• Assist in onboarding, training, and mentoring team members.
• Participate in regular performance check-ins and support development plans.
• Ensure operational, safety, legal, and compliance procedures are followed.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive store culture and handle customer concerns professionally.
• Step in for the Store Manager during absences or delegated responsibilities.
