Job summary

Parsons in Mecca is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer with a civil engineering background to support housing and infrastructure projects. You will prepare drawings, specifications, and procurement materials, and use CAD tools.

You will perform engineering calculations, material takeoffs, cost estimates, surveys, and design work, while coordinating with CAD designers, draftspersons, and junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in housing and infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in CAD and other design software.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Finish a range of drawings, specifications, and other procurement/construction materials.
• Prepare engineering computations, material takeoffs, estimates, surveys and designs.
• Prepare detailed quantities for equipment and materials.
• Review submittals and assist CAD Designers, Draftsmen, Designers and junior engineers.
• Provide input and technical support to CAD Designers and engineers.
• Perform other related duties as required.
