Job summary

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Assistant Chief Butler to support daily leadership and operations of the Butler department within our luxury resort. You will work with the Chief Butler to guide, motivate and develop the Butler team while ensuring Rosewood standards and personalised service are consistently delivered.

Responsibilities include overseeing guest experiences, managing profiles and operations, and collaborating with other departments to fulfill requests for special occasions

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in luxury hospitality supervisory or Butler leadership.
• Accredited Butler Certification and strong understanding of luxury service standards.
• Ability to motivate, coach and develop teams while maintaining a professional environment.
• Highly organized with ability to prioritise and make sound decisions in fast-paced settings.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with guests and staff.
• Comfort with hospitality systems to manage guest preferences and operations.

Responsibilities

THE TEAM

As part of the Butler team you will support the delivery of exceptional and highly personalised guest experiences across the resort Reporting directly to the Chief Butler and working closely with Front Office Housekeeping Food amp Beverage Culinary Engineering Transportation and Concierge teams you will help ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence for every guest stay

YOUR ROLE

As Assistant Chief Butler you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily leadership and operation of the Butler department Working alongside the Chief Butler you will help guide motivate and develop the Butler team while ensuring the consistent delivery of Rosewood and luxury hospitality service standards This role combines guest experience leadership operational oversight and team development You will be instrumental in creating memorable tailored experiences for guests while driving service excellence maintaining operational efficiency and fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement

HOW YOU LL MAKE THE PLACE

Lead and coordinate daily Butler operations ensuring service standards are consistently delivered at the highest level Foster exceptional guest experiences by anticipating needs personalising service and overseeing seamless arrivals departures and in-villa experiences Coach train and support the Butler team promoting continuous learning engagement and operational excellence Oversee guest profiles operational reports service documentation and departmental communications to maintain accuracy and consistency Collaborate closely with operational departments to ensure flawless execution of guest requests special occasions VIP stays and bespoke experiences Monitor service quality through inspections audits and guest feedback implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives when required

You bring substantial experience in a luxury hospitality supervisory or Butler leadership environment, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional guest service. You hold an accredited Butler Certification and have a solid understanding of luxury hospitality standards and personalised service principles. You are a confident leader who can motivate, coach and develop teams while maintaining a positive and professional working environment. You are highly organised, able to prioritise competing demands, make sound decisions and remain composed in fast‑paced environments. You have strong communication skills and can build effective relationships with guests, colleagues and cross‑functional teams. You are comfortable using hospitality systems and technology platforms to manage guest preferences, operational information and service delivery.
