Responsibilities

Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents.
Record, store, access, and analyze financial information using journals and ledgers.
Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting reports.
Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and statements.
Follow up on past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment.
Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received by cash-handling staff.
Document and protect all cashier banks and contracts.
