Job summary
A leading energy company in Qatar is seeking an operator to manage production facilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the oil or petrochemical industry and relevant technical training. Responsibilities include operating and adjusting production facilities as directed to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- 4 years experience in operating process plant in the oil or petrochemical industry.
- Relevant short courses in safety and plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and adjust production facilities to ensure maximum recovery/injection.
- Follow directions from General Operator/Senior Operator.
Skills
Education
Operates and adjusts production facilities as directed by General Operator/Senior Operator within designated limits to ensure maximum recovery/injection on assigned shift.
- Good oral and reading and fair in written English.
- Minimum 4 years experience in operating process plant in the oil or petrochemical industry.
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 3 years formal technical training in process plant operations plus relevant short courses in safety, plant operations or equivalent. For nationals TAFE or equivalent.
