Job summary

A leading energy company in Qatar is seeking an operator to manage production facilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the oil or petrochemical industry and relevant technical training. Responsibilities include operating and adjusting production facilities as directed to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience in operating process plant in the oil or petrochemical industry.
• Relevant short courses in safety and plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust production facilities to ensure maximum recovery/injection.
• Follow directions from General Operator/Senior Operator.

Skills

Good oral and reading English

Education

Completion of Secondary (12 years) education

3 years formal technical training in process plant operations

Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job

Operates and adjusts production facilities as directed by General Operator/Senior Operator within designated limits to ensure maximum recovery/injection on assigned shift.

Required Experience and Skills

• Good oral and reading and fair in written English.
• Minimum 4 years experience in operating process plant in the oil or petrochemical industry.

Educational Qualifications

Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 3 years formal technical training in process plant operations plus relevant short courses in safety, plant operations or equivalent. For nationals TAFE or equivalent.
