Job summary

A major energy company in Qatar is seeking a Materials Handling Supervisor to assist in operational activities. The role requires 5 years of experience in the oil/gas materials environment and a valid Qatari driving license. Candidates should possess a relevant diploma and be computer literate. Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in oil/gas materials environment.
• Valid Qatari driving license.
• Knowledge of specifications, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Foreman in maintaining operational activities.
• Supervise loading and offloading of materials.
• Transport materials to/from warehouse to offshore locations.

Skills

Knowledge of Oil/Gas Industry materials

Good level of written and spoken English

Computer literate

Safety and Environmental awareness

Knowledge of IATA & IMDG code

Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job

Assist Senior Foreman (Site control) in maintaining Materials Handling section’s operational activities by supervising and arranging loading and offloading and transporting materials/equipment to/from RLC Materials warehouse to offshore locations through RLC Jetty.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5 years’ experience in oil/gas materials environment.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Computer literate.
• Valid Qatari driving license.
• Knowledge of Oil/Gas Industry materials, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Safety and Environmental and hazardous awareness.
• Knowledge of IATA & IMDG code for shipment of dangerous & hazardous goods.

Educational Qualifications

Relevant Diploma or equivalent.
