Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services seeks a Senior Commissioning professional with 8 years of large-project experience in oil & gas. You will lead pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities, oversee vendor personnel, and ensure safety, QA/QC, and handover standards are met.

The role requires strong coordination, organizational and communication skills, plus familiarity with CMS systems and offshore work environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
• 8 years experience with large-project commissioning in Oil & Gas.
• 1 year supervisory/oversight experience.
• Experience with CMS databases such as PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon.
• Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and Operations interfaces.
• Excellent organizational, reporting and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and safe handover practices.

Responsibilities

• Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience on major Oil & Gas projects.

Qualifications*

Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering

Knowledge and/or Experience:-

• 8 years experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Completion certificate types
• Strong decision making and prioritization skills under pressuretechnical, analytical, and interface skills.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of punch list categorization
• Experience using Completion Management Systems (CMS) data base such as PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon or similar.
• Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and Operations interfaces.
• Excellent organizational, reporting, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and safe system handover practices.

Technical and Business Skills:-

• A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures of offshore site environment.
• Effective coordination with all parties involved and reporting skills.
• Strong organizational and technical judgment skills
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities

• Have pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience as a commissioning performer on major Oil & Gas projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, computer literacy.
