Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services seeks an experienced Senior Commissioning Lead for offshore Oil & Gas projects. You will supervise commissioning teams, oversee pre-commissioning and start-up activities, and coordinate with service personnel to ensure safe handovers.

The role requires 8+ years of commissioning experience, strong CMS knowledge (PIMS/WinPCS/ICAPS/Hexagon), and fluent English. A focus on safety, documentation, and cross-functional communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
• 8 years of large-project commissioning experience in Oil & Gas.
• Experience in supervisory or oversight roles.
• Knowledge of Completion certificate types.
• Experience with CMS databases such as PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon.
• Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and Operations interfaces.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and safe handover practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities on major Oil & Gas projects.

• Ensure correct handling of Completion certificates and punch lists.

Qualifications*

Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering

Knowledge and/or Experience:-

• 8 years experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Completion certificate types
• Strong decision making and prioritization skills under pressuretechnical, analytical, and interface skills.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of punch list categorization
• Experience using Completion Management Systems (CMS) data base such as PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon or similar.
• Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and Operations interfaces.
• Excellent organizational, reporting, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and safe system handover practices.

Technical and Business Skills:-

• A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures of offshore site environment.
• Effective coordination with all parties involved and reporting skills.
• Strong organizational and technical judgment skills
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Excellent communication skills to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Have pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience as a commissioning performer on major Oil & Gas projects.
