Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services is seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead for offshore/oil & gas projects in Qatar. The role requires extensive pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience on major projects, with leadership oversight of vendor personnel and a strong focus on HSE and safe handovers.

Strong knowledge of CMS systems and punch list processes, plus exceptional coordination and reporting skills, are essential for successful execution in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• 8 years experience with large-project commissioning in Oil & Gas, incl. 1 year supervisory/oversight role.
• Knowledge of Completion certificate types.
• Decision making and prioritization under pressure; analytical and interface skills.
• Experience with punch list categorization.
• CMS data bases such as PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon or similar.
• Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and Operations interfaces.
• Excellent organizational, reporting and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and safe handover practices.
• Fluent English (read/write/speak).
• Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience on major Oil & Gas projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Knowledge and/or Experience:

• 8 years experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Completion certificate types
• Strong decision making and prioritization skills under pressuretechnical, analytical, and interface skills.
