A leading IT consulting firm in Lisbon is seeking a Cloud Engineer with experience in Azure and VMware. You will design and manage cloud environments, ensuring security and compliance. Candidates should have knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and containerization. This role offers a no-term full-time contract, health insurance, and a collaborative culture with opportunities for growth.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms with primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Solid expertise in VMware solutions such as VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware NSX.

Role:Cloud Engineer (Azure & VMware)
Location:Hybrid, Lisbon or Porto
Requirements
- Proven experience in cloud engineering, including design and management of cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), with primary focus on Microsoft Azure
- Solid expertise in VMware solutions such as VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware NSX
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash or PowerShell
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Ability to analyze and interpret monitoring data and correlate with business insights
- Proactive, independent working style with strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in Azure, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or VMware
Additional experience with monitoring and observability tools
Participation in large-scale, complex cloud projects
