Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Technical Account Manager to serve as the trusted technical lead for enterprise clients in Portugal. You will guide implementations, deployments, and ongoing support, ensuring value and measurable results across projects.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, conduct annual reviews, deliver training, and contribute to product improvements. This role requires English and Portuguese proficiency, SQL knowledge, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in customer implementations, technical support, or similar client-facing technical roles.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese with strong communication across both languages.
• Working knowledge of SQL queries and scripting; AI tools for workflows welcomed.
• Strong planning, organization and communication; experience managing client projects.
• High attention to detail and professionalism in client interactions.
• Familiarity with project management tools, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work outside core hours.
• Background check will be required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned enterprise accounts.
• Lead technical projects from planning through go-live and post-deployment support.
• Coordinate code deployments with internal teams and clients.
• Conduct annual account reviews and health checks.
• Deliver training on software usage and best practices.
• Represent accounts during emergencies and manage crisis communications.
• Provide feedback for product enhancements based on client interactions.
