eXalt is seeking an IT Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for IT and technology roles in Porto. You will work directly with our co-founder to establish the Porto office, shape its culture, and build a high-performing team from the ground up.

This leadership role offers significant autonomy and the chance to influence eXalt's growth trajectory across Portugal and beyond.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in talent acquisition within IT/Technology.
• Fluent in English (mandatory).

• Solid decision-making abilities when evaluating candidates.
• Experience with ATS platforms is a plus. French language knowledge is a bonus.

eXalt are seeking a talented IT Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to be the lead recruiter for our newly established Porto office. In this strategic role, you will own the full recruitment lifecycle for our IT and technology positions, working directly with our co‑founder to build and scale the office's team. You will be instrumental in establishing eXalt's presence in Portugal and shaping the culture and talent foundation of this exciting new hub.

This is a unique opportunity to lead recruitment efforts with direct executive partnership and significant autonomy in building a high‑performing team from the ground up.

Your Responsibilities

As a IT Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for:

Partner directly with our co‑founder to align recruitment strategy with the office's growth vision and organizational goals;

Shape a new office culture by attracting and nurturing talent that embodies eXalt's distinctive values

Build from the ground up — have ownership over recruitment processes, team structure, and scaling strategy for a nascent but ambitious hub;

• Establish Portugal's tech talent network for eXalt, positioning the Porto office as an attractive destination for top IT professionals;
• Influence company‑wide recruitment — insights and lessons learned will inform eXalt's talent strategy across all offices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage the full recruitment process: Source, recruit, interview, evaluate, and place highly skilled IT professionals to match internal job requirements
• Develop a professional network: Build and maintain a robust network of active and passive technology professionals through creative sourcing, referrals, and networking events
• Conduct effective interviews: Perform phone screenings, video interviews (Google Meet, Teams, etc.), and face‑to‑face meetings to accurately assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit
• Fill job openings and design job descriptions: Ensure timely and accurate job placement while collaborating with hiring managers to create compelling job descriptions
• Maintain a candidate pipeline: Source and nurture a qualified pool of candidates across multiple recruitment platforms and channels
• Deliver excellent candidate experience: Ensure every candidate receives professional, respectful, and engaging communication throughout the recruitment journey
• Maintain accurate candidate data: Keep candidate information current and organized in our recruitment management systems
• Promote company reputation: Actively champion eXalt's brand and attractiveness to potential candidates through professional engagement and thought leadership

Key Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in talent acquisition within the IT/Technology sector
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
• Achievement-focused mindset with a results-oriented approach
• Resilient, authentic, and trustworthy professional demeanor
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid decision‑making abilities with strong judgment in evaluating candidates

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with French language candidates or European recruitment markets
• Familiarity with tech recruitment platforms and ATS systems
• Background in social sciences (Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology, etc.)
