Silversea in Lisbon, Portugal seeks a room service attendant with a minimum of two years in a guest-facing restaurant service role. Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills preferred to assist a diverse guest mix aboard luxury vessels.

Responsibilities include providing polished, discreet service, managing orders and deliveries, and maintaining spotless work areas. You will use onboard service systems and contribute to an exceptional dining experience at sea.

Formación

• 2 years in successful experience in a guest-facing restaurant service role.
• Excellent fluent English (verbal and written).
• Preferred additional language(s) beyond English.

• Utilize room service technologies and systems to manage guest requests.
• Take, process, and coordinate food and beverage orders, including delivery logistics.
• Prepare, set up, and deliver room service and in-suite dining to luxury standards.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas, equipment, and service items.
• Minimize waste and ensure proper garbage disposal procedures.
• Inform guests about onboard services and experiences.
• Support inventory management processes within Housekeeping Operations.

• (2) years in successful experience in a guest-facing restaurant service role, providing attentive table service and creating exceptional dining experiences in a luxury environment.
• Excellent fluent English (verbal and written). English is the working and safety language on board Silversea vessels. This also includes giving and receiving instructions in verbal and written forms and effectively and efficiently engaging with guests and crew members.
• Preferred - conversational in an additional language is preferred (German, Portuguese, French, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin or Cantonese, Japanese, Arabic).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, courteous service always, using guest names and maintaining a polished, confident demeanor.
• Anticipate guest needs and preferences to deliver discreet, efficient, and highly personalized service.
• Utilize all available room service technologies and systems (including Command Center, IRO, and other tools) to efficiently manage guest requests and support service excellence.
• Take, process, and coordinate food and beverage orders accurately, including delivery logistics.
• Prepare, set up, and deliver room service and in-suite dining to luxury presentation standards.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas, equipment, and service items always.
• Minimize waste and breakage while ensuring proper garbage disposal procedures.
• Inform and guide guests confidently about onboard services and experiences.
• Support inventory management processes within the Housekeeping Operation.
