You will define platform architecture, guide solution design across modules and integrations, and ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise‑scale ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, custom apps, integrations and workflows.

Role Overview

We are looking for a ServiceNow Architect to join one of our Nearshore Teams working remotely for international clients accross The Netherlands, Germany and other European countries.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the platform architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and ServiceNow best practices, and driving the adoption of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, consultants, developers, and operational teams to deliver innovative digital workflows and maximize the value of the ServiceNow platform.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the overall ServiceNow architecture, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and alignment with business goals;
• Lead solution design activities across multiple ServiceNow modules, custom applications, integrations, and automation capabilities;
• Provide technical leadership and governance throughout the solution lifecycle, supporting development teams with architectural guidance and best practices;
• Design and oversee API-based integrations with enterprise systems using ServiceNow IntegrationHub and related technologies;
• Drive the adoption of platform capabilities, including Automation Engine and AI-powered features such as Now Assist;
• Review technical designs and implementations to ensure compliance with ServiceNow standards, upgradeability, and long-term maintainability;
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust architectural solutions;
• Support roadmap definition, platform optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

What you are like

• Experienced in designing and implementing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions and platform architectures;
• Proficient in ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM, custom applications, integrations, and workflow automation;
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow IntegrationHub, APIs, and integration architecture patterns;
• Skilled in architecture governance, technical leadership, and solution design best practices;
• Experienced in automation, orchestration, and AI-driven platform capabilities such as Automation Engine and Now Assist;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and business decisions;
• Have good communication skills in English, as you will collaborate daily with international teams;
• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified Master Architect (CMA), Certified Application Architect (CAA), or related certifications are highly valued.
