Job summary

GRiT is seeking a Deployment Maestro to manage deployment procedures across all software lifecycle environments from development to production. You will build, promote, distribute, plan releases, and perform post-deployment health checks, ensuring stability across development, pre-production, and production environments.

Ideal candidates bring senior expertise in software change and configuration management, along with strong lifecycle knowledge and automation skills to eliminate repetitive

Qualifications

• Senior background in software change and configuration management.
• Solid command of software lifecycle management.
• Full understanding of the development lifecycle from build to operations.
• Creative approach to automating complex tasks and eliminating repetitive work.
• Troubleshooting of build tool issues and deployment problems.
• Diagnosis and resolution of software and hardware configuration problems.
• Experience configuring build, test and deploy stages.
• Fluent Portuguese and English, written and spoken.

Job Description: Management of deployment procedures across every software lifecycle environment, from development to production. Build, promotion and distribution automation, release planning with delivery and implementation plans, post-deployment health checks and roll-out follow-up. Stability and upkeep of development, certification, pre-production and production environments, plus application installation on internal servers and support for third-party ones.

Must-Have

• Senior background in software change and configuration management
• Solid command of software lifecycle management
• Full understanding of the development lifecycle, from first build to maintenance and operations
• Creative approach to complex automation challenges, eliminating repetitive tasks
• Troubleshooting of build tool issues
• Diagnosis and resolution of software and hardware configuration problems
• Configuration of build, test and deploy stages
• Fluent Portuguese and English, written and spoken
• Rigor, organization, perseverance and critical thinking
• Strong sense of responsibility, dynamism and composure under pressure
• Understanding of development work, with a combined view of infrastructure and development

Would Be Great If You Have

• Programming skills in Java, Perl and Shell Script
• Knowledge of Harvest and SQL
• Familiarity with IT best practice standards such as ITIL and ISO 20000
