Job summary

Grit Solutions is seeking a PHP Developer to join our team in Lisbon. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PHP experience, strong knowledge of PHP 7+, and hands-on work with Laravel, Symfony, Zend, or Expressive.

You will work with OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React. Experience with testing layers and solid English communication are essential for collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PHP experience required.
• Proficient with PHP 7+.
• Experience with Laravel, Symfony, Zend, Expressive.
• Strong OOP, design patterns and SOLID.
• Front-end JS frameworks: Angular or React.
• Experience with unit, integration and functional tests.
• English proficiency is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Must-Have

• +5 years of experience with PHP
• Proficiency working on versions from PHP 7
• Experience with frameworks -ex: Laravel, Symfony, Zend and Expressive
• Experience with OOP, Design Patterns and anti-patterns, SOLID principles
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React, focusing on front-end development
• Experienced with testing layers (unit, integration and functional testing)
• Fluent or good knowledge of English
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Would Be Great If You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
• Knowledge in JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js
