Job summary

NordicEPOD is seeking a Senior Transport Coordinator to join our team in Portugal. You will manage domestic and international transportation operations, coordinate with clients, carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers.

You will oversee import/export and customs clearance, ensure accurate documentation, monitor costs and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement through efficient problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in international logistics, import/export, and customs processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with emphasis on cost control and results.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor domestic and international transportation operations.
• Manage daily contact with clients, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Oversee import, export, and customs clearance processes.
• Ensure the accuracy of commercial and customs documentation.
• Monitor customs duties, import VAT, fees, and other charges.
• Validate invoices for transportation and customs services and identify discrepancies.
• Manage operational issues, delays, and complaints ensuring service quality.
• Monitor KPIs, deadlines, and service levels for continuous improvement.
