Nestlé is seeking an Ocean Logistics Operations Specialist in Portugal. You will supervise ocean transport activities, optimize tracking systems, and collaborate with Markets, suppliers, shippers, carriers, and Global Logistics Procurement to ensure timely, reliable stock movements aligned with Nestlé service expectations.

You will lead transport monitoring, resolve exceptions, coordinate loading dates, and monitor shipments from loading to POL.

Qualifications

• Technical university degree or equivalent.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping operations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of physical logistics.
• Project management experience within Supply Chain.
• Experience working with or managing providers.
• Advanced English (Spanish is a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Lead and monitor ocean transport operations and Track & Trace processes.
• Ensure timely resolution of exceptions and maintain data integrity in Ocean Platform and Dashboard.
• Coordinate loading dates with export team and track containers from loading to POL.
• Monitor shipments during transit, identify deviations, update ETAs, and notify Markets as needed.
• Receive arrival notices, manage empty container return, and COD requests.
• Monitor platform performance against SLAs and support operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and project initiatives.
