Job summary

UPS Porto is seeking a motivated candidate to join the Brokerage department and perform administrative tasks for international shipments. You will support customs clearance and coordinate arrivals while helping the overnight team maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Customs certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a customs environment.
• Intermediate English (B1) written and spoken preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general brokerage tasks and assess duties and taxes for international package imports.
• Prepare and coordinate arrangements for aircraft/truck arrivals and communications with customs.
• Ensure that customs duties and tax assessments comply with local regulations.
• Contact customers to obtain information required for customs clearance of shipments.
• Prepare reports and support the supervisor in managing the overnight team.
• Resolve issues related to customs declarations and cargo manifests.
• Perform other technical and administrative duties related to the role.
