Emagine Portugal, part of a multinational group, is seeking a Senior Application Support Specialist to join our global team supporting cloud-native applications critical to operations worldwide. You will troubleshoot, resolve incidents, and collaborate with DevOps, SRE, QA and development teams to drive long-term improvements.

The role offers an international environment, exposure to modern cloud-native tech, and a hybrid work model (3 days in the office).

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support or Technical Support roles.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management experience.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with ITSM tools.
• Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence).
• Experience working with cloud-native environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka and MongoDB.
• Experience with scripting languages is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of complex production incidents.
• Manage and resolve incidents within agreed service levels.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, SRE and QA teams to implement long-term solutions.
• Monitor application performance, stability and availability.
• Improve observability, alerting and monitoring frameworks.
• Participate in on-call support rotations.
• Lead support-related initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure platform reliability and performance.
