Finastra is seeking a Senior Application Support Consultant to help clients solve complex challenges in banking applications, optimise system performance, and ensure mission-critical apps run smoothly.

You will investigate issues, work with Development teams on defect resolution, support deployments and provide guidance to clients, while embedding AI-enabled automation to improve processes.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting banking applications, ideally within retail banking.
• Strong understanding of retail banking processes and functionality.
• Background in Application Support, Technical Support, Testing, or Development.
• SQL and RDBMS knowledge.
• Experience analysing logs and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Ability to work with Development teams on defect investigation and resolution.
• Fluent Portuguese and English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate and resolve complex client issues through detailed root cause analysis.
• Identify whether issues are functional, configuration-related, or software defects.
• Work closely with Development teams to drive defect resolution and improvements.
• Support deployments, releases, testing, and post-production validation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing clear communication and expert guidance.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles and operational documentation.
• Drive productivity and business performance by embedding AI-enabled automation, improving processes based on value and risk, ensuring trusted data standards, and leveraging insights to support informed decision-making and measurable outcomes.
