Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a PR Specialist to establish and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts and secure positive coverage for the company in Spain. You will work with the Marketing team to develop and execute Press & PR strategies aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in PR, Corporate Comm, Marketing or related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and Portuguese are mandatory.
• Strong communications and media relations background in automotive or Branded PR.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal and external PR plans.
• Write and coordinate press releases; liaise with PR managers and agencies.
• Maintain relationships with press, media, and digital influencers.
• Develop media resources; ensure visibility of brand and product stories; collaborate with PR teams.
• Monitor publicity and conduct research on media trends.
• Engage in PR events or activities and coordinate with project teams.
• Act as brand ambassador and customer-focused team player.
