Job summary

Caixa Mágica Software is seeking an Application Production Support professional to ensure continuity, stability, and performance of production applications for a major banking client. You will interface with Business, Development, and Infrastructure teams, manage incidents and changes, and contribute to continuous service improvements.

The role emphasizes ITIL/DevOps practices, production monitoring, releases, and deployment readiness across on-premise and cloud/hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in Application Production Support/IT Operations
• Experience supporting critical banking/financial services apps
• ITIL/Agile/DevOps knowledge valued
• Strong production monitoring, incident and release management
• Experience with cloud-based and hybrid infrastructures
• Ability to work in multicultural/international environments
• On-call availability for production activities
• SQL databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, PostgreSQL detected)
• Operating systems: Windows, Windows Server, Linux, UNIX
• File transfer tech: CFT, MQ, FTaaS, FTP, SFTP, PeSIT
• Batch scheduling/workload automation: AutoSys

Responsibilities

• Act as first contact for IT production activities and support end-users and teams
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems and changes with ITSM tools per SLAs
• Restore services via effective incident analysis and escalation
• Monitor application and infrastructure for stability and availability
• Implement preventive actions to reduce recurring incidents
• Prepare, validate and support application releases and deployments
• Perform pre-production testing and ensure production readiness
• Maintain technical docs and procedures
• Collaborate with Development on migrations and releases
• Support monitoring, automation and operational excellence initiatives
• Manage stakeholder communications and provide timely incident updates
• Participate in on-call duties when required
