XYZ Company in Braga is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow a sales team, reporting to the Sales Director. You will develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, coach reps, and collaborate with marketing, operations and finance to execute plans.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration/Marketing and at least 3 years in sales management within consumer goods, with strong leadership, communication and CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).

As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve company sales targets. You will be based in our Braga office and will report to the Sales Director.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and meet company goals
• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
• Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly
• Train and mentor new sales representatives on product knowledge selling techniques and company policies
• Collaborate with other departments such as marketing operations and finance to ensure smooth execution of sales plans
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance market trends and potential opportunities for growth
• Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the companys productsservices

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales management role within the same industry preferably in the consumer goods sector
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
• Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with CRM software Salesforce or similar is preferred
• Fluent in English additional language skills are a plus
• Willingness to travel for business purposes
