Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Portugal] is seeking a ServiceNow-focused developer to design, configure, and implement technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders, analyze demands, and translate them into robust processes, reporting, and automation.

The role emphasizes learning ServiceNow, delivering usable ITSM/ITOM solutions, and maintaining accurate documentation while supporting continuous improvement and customer-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, Ajax, HTML, CSS.
• Basic IT knowledge (networks, databases, app servers, web services, distributed systems).
• At least +1 year of professional Web development experience.
• Eager to learn ServiceNow platform and application development.
• Strong analytical skills paired with a strong service and customer orientation.
• Initiative to solve problems and overcome roadblocks.
• Result-oriented and communicative team player.
• Good written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and configuring appropriate technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform using best practices and ServiceNow standards.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to analyse demands and develop suitable solutions.
• Developing new projects and implement business processes including reporting, test automation, mobility and asset management (Requirement Analysis, Design and Implementation).
• Reporting technical problems and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitoring health, usage and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform and its applications.
• Maintaining the operations manuals and other technical documents.
• Contributing to the optimization of support services and processes.
