A renowned rental car company seeks a Remote German-Speaking Customer Care representative. In this role, you will assist customers with inquiries and ensure their satisfaction. Fluency in German (C2) and a good command of English (B2) are required. Previous customer service experience is an advantage. This is a full-time remote position based in mainland Portugal, offering a performance bonus and other benefits.

Initial paid training period

Extras for working on Sundays and public holidays

Performance Bonus: EUR 120 per month

Complexity Bonus: EUR 30 per month

Meal Allowance: EUR 7.23 per working day

Qualificações

• Fluency in German (C2 level or above), written and spoken.
• Good command of English (B2 level or above), written and spoken.
• Previous experience in customer service is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle customer inquiries efficiently.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Availability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

About the job

Location: Remote from mainland Portugal

Start Date: May 15, 2025

Contract Type: Permanent (3-month trial period)

Responsibilities

• Assist customers via phone, email, and chat regarding rental services
• Resolve inquiries related to reservations, billing, and policies
• Provide outstanding customer support and ensure customer satisfaction

Working Hours

• 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, following rotational shift pattern distributed in the following hours:
• Monday to Friday: rotational shifts between 07:00 AM 08:00 PM
• Saturday: 08:00 AM 04:00 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM 05:00 PM
• Two rotational days off per week

Required Documents

• EU ID or Residence Card for Portugal

Requirements

• Fluency in German (C2 level or above), written and spoken
• Good command of English (B2 level or above), written and spoken
• Previous experience in customer service is an advantage but not mandatory

• Must be based in mainland Portugal, anywhere apart from Lisbon Metropolitan area

Salary & Benefits
