A leading rental car company is seeking a Remote German-Speaking Customer Service Representative. Responsibilities include assisting customers with inquiries and providing excellent support. The ideal candidate must be fluent in German and have strong communication skills. Benefits include training, bonuses, and health insurance. This position is remote from mainland Portugal, outside the Lisbon area.

Are you fluent in German and passionate about customer service? Join a well-known Rental Car Company project as a Customer Service Representative and assist customers with their inquiries in a dynamic and rewarding environment!

Location: Remote from mainland Portugal

Start Date: May 15, 2025

Contract Type: Permanent (3-month trial period)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers via phone, email, and chat regarding rental services
  • Resolve inquiries related to reservations, billing, and policies
  • Provide outstanding customer support and ensure customer satisfaction

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, following rotational shift pattern
  • Monday to Friday: rotational shifts between 07:00 AM – 08:00 PM
  • Saturday: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
  • Sunday: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
  • Two rotational days off per week

Required Documents:

  • EU ID or Residence Card for Portugal

Requirements:

  • Fluency in German (C2 level or above), written and spoken
  • Good command of English (B2 level or above), written and spoken
  • Previous experience in customer service is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle customer inquiries efficiently
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Availability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be based in mainland Portugal-anywhere apart from Lisbon Metropolitan area (no relocation assistance is provided for this role; if you need relocation, please apply and mention it separately and we will be able to offer you a different role with relocation help)

Salary & Benefits:

  • Initial paid training period
  • Extras for working on Sundays and public holidays
  • Performance Bonus: EUR 120 per month, paid 12 times a year
  • Complexity Bonus: EUR 30 per month, paid 12 times a year
  • Meal Allowance: EUR 7.23 per working day, net, paid in a meal card (approx. EUR 159 per month, net)
  • Health Insurance: Paid by the employee for the first 6 months, then fully covered
