Jobgether is seeking a Developer Support Engineer based in Portugal to provide advanced technical support for backend, integration, database, and configuration issues across cloud and self-hosted environments.

You’ll investigate challenging problems using logs, SQL queries, APIs, scripts, and system diagnostics, and collaborate across Support, Engineering, and Product teams to resolve escalations and improve documentation.

Qualificações

• 3–6 years of experience supporting Java-based web applications or comparable enterprise software environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across apps, logs, databases, APIs, infra, and dependencies.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with databases (MySQL or MS SQL).
• Linux command-line skills for log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience with REST APIs and SaaS or web-based apps.
• Experience with Kubernetes and distributed app architectures.
• Strong scripting and automation to improve workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain complex concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced technical support for backend services, integrations, databases, configurations, and app behavior across cloud and self-hosted environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and escalate complex incidents.
• Troubleshoot installations, upgrades, migrations, and performance issues.
• Analyze logs, queries, API traffic, and metrics to identify root causes.
• Use tools to debug across multiple technical layers.
• Document defects and work with Engineering on resolutions/workarounds.
• Develop scripts to address complex issues and automate troubleshooting tasks.
• Support integrations involving REST APIs and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with Support, Engineering, and Product to resolve escalated cases.
• Contribute to internal docs and process improvements.
