Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager for Managed Services based in Portugal. You will lead a distributed team delivering cloud-based managed services built on Kubernetes/OpenStack, balancing reliability with engineering quality.

You will drive operational excellence, collaborate with product and customer teams, and shape scalable processes while ensuring focused priorities and milestones globally.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in a technology-related field.
• Proven experience in software engineering with Python/Go/C/C++/Java or managing tech ops teams.
• Demonstrated OpenStack experience and Linux system administration knowledge.
• Strong testing, maintainable code, and software quality practices.
• Experience with distributed/remote teams and Agile methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a growing engineering team, improving development velocity and quality.
• Manage day-to-day delivery of managed services across customer environments.
• Establish disciplined engineering and operations processes for scalability and maintainability.
• Monitor team health and drive collaboration and performance improvements.
• Represent the team with customers, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
• Ensure SLAs are met across global deployments.
• Drive continuous product/process improvements based on feedback.
