Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering or several years of energy-sector experience.
• 3+ years as Project Manager or Project Assistant with international collaboration.
• Familiarity with service-specific processes, tools, IT systems, and Siemens Energy portfolio.
• Solid understanding of market dynamics, health and safety regulations, and team development.
• Fluent English; German/French/Spanish a plus; IPMA cert is advantageous.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing maintenance events for large rotating equipment, ensuring the availability of parts, suppliers, and field service teams. You will also travel to power plants across Europe and Africa, giving you the opportunity to work with diverse teams and in different environments.

Your typical day will combine independent work with regular communication and coordination. You will structure and prioritize your own tasks while collaborating with teams across project management, project execution, engineering, assembly, and tooling in both regional and international settings. The variety of activities and the opportunity to see timely, tangible results will bring an additional sense of impact and satisfaction to your work.

What You Bring

• A completed degree in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering, or several years of experience in the energy sector.
• More than 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Assistant, including collaboration with international teams.
• Proficiency in service‑specific processes, tools, IT systems, and the Siemens Energy portfolio.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, health and safety regulations, and team development.
• Fluent English, with German, French, or Spanish considered an advantage. IPMA certification is also advantageous.
• Excellent customer relationship skills, combined with autonomy, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.

About the Team

The Portugal Project Management team operates as a flexible support organization providing project coordination and management services across Europe & Africa. The team supports different project types and business areas, including Long-Term Programs, standard service business, and Operations & Maintenance projects.

As the organization continues to grow, this role contributes to effective project execution and high-quality Project Management support across the region.
