Job summary

Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, a TUI-owned specialist, seeks a Port Delivery Agent in Lisbon. You will coordinate all operational activities with cruise clients, serving as the main contact at port, coordinating the work of the team, and ensuring high-quality service from planning to delivery.

Role requires being on-site at ports and hotels on operational days, with early starts and irregular schedules; strong English and Portuguese communication skills are essential, and you must have

Qualifications

• Knowledge of daily planning and operations in a holiday destination/cruise business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Portuguese.
• Ability to make decisions with autonomy and deliver proactive guest service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all operational activities for cruise clients from planning to delivery.
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth delivery.
• Be present at port, airport and hotels on operation days as main ship contact.
• Complete invoicing and data entry accurately and on time.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and update reservations.
• Liaise with ships and onboard teams to review and arrange final details per itineraries.
• Maintain regular presence at port/hotels during operational days and irregular schedules.

Job description

Join our Operations & Delivery team as a Port Delivery Agent in Lisbon, Portugal where you will be the main point of contact for the cruise line for embarkation and debarkation operations.

You will work as a team responsible for the preparation of the operation, ensuring a high standard and quality service to achieve the highest guest and client satisfaction.

Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services is a TUI owned specialist business providing cruise ship handling services to cruise lines in destinations throughout the world. You will be assisting cruise lines and other clients on their daily operations.

This is a locally employed position. You must have the right to work in Portugal and live close to the portin Lisbon, before applying.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Coordinate and manage all operational activities agreed with cruise clients, overseeing each stage of the process, from planning to delivery, delivering exceptional customer service through proactive problem-solving and attention to detail
• Work closely with the other departments involved in the operations to ensure smooth and efficient delivery at all times
• Be present at the port, airport, and hotels on operational days as the main point of contact for the ship, coordinating the work of all team members involved
• Complete invoicing processes and data entry requirements accurately and within deadlines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reservations and operational updates are managed effectively
• Keeping constant contact, reserving, and updating providers accordingly.
• Liase with ships and respective operations onboard teams to review, update and arrange all final details, according to pre-approved itineraries.
• This is a dynamic, hands-on role that requires regular presence at the port/aiport/hotels during operational days, early starts, and irregular week schedule

• You have knowledge, experience and understanding of daily planning and operations in a holiday destination and/or cruise business
• You are a confident decision maker, and like to work with autonomy
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Portuguese
• You have a pro-active guest service mindset with a clear focus on quality and efficiency
