Job summary

CMA CGM Porto is seeking a proactive customer service assistant as part of the Rise in Motion program to support delivery activities and coordinate with our Shared Service Center, internal teams, agencies and customers. You will help optimize CX and ensure smooth customer interactions in an international setting.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, problem solving, and strong communication in English and Portuguese, with a focus on continuous learning in a dynamic logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Support local customs declaration processes.
• Assist with cargo release activities (on‑carriage & empty returns).
• Support pre‑invoicing controls and invoicing processes.
• Prepare and send Notices of Arrival (NOA).
• Follow up on idle situations and escalations.
• Participate in the promotion of relevant products and services.
• Support system updates and coordination with involved teams.
• Provide guidelines and support to the customer service team (processes, disputes, customer profiles, etc.).
• Support KPI monitoring and contribute to achieving Customer Experience (CX) objectives.
• Participate in process optimization projects and digital transformation initiatives.
