Job summary

Four Seasons Lisbon is seeking a Sous Chef to join CURA Restaurant in Lisbon. You will be an essential member of the Food & Beverage team, supporting the Restaurant Chef and leading the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional quality and service.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of culinary experience, a degree in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, and proficiency in Portuguese and English.

Qualifications

• College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum one years previous experience in culinary/food & beverage line, supervisory or assistant manager positions;
• Requires a working knowledge of division operations
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency both in Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, controlling and directing kitchen staff.
• Ensure superior quality and consistency of food.
• Support Restaurant Chef in daily operations.
