Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in Lisbon to provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain a secure, efficient workplace.

The role involves remote support for desktops/laptops, OS updates, software deployments, and collaboration with IT security teams. Strong English, AD, and ticketing experience are required; Intune/SCCM skills are a plus. Hybrid work in Lisbon with permanent contract.

Qualificações

• Experience in Desktop Support, Service Desk, or IT Support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user-access issues.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and ticketing systems.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Professional level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide remote support for desktop, laptop, and software-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents while ensuring a high level of user satisfaction.
• Support operating system updates, software deployments, and device configurations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on complex technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Support endpoint security solutions and asset lifecycle activities.
• Monitor support queues and ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
