Cognizant in Lisbon is seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Engineer to join the IT Support team. You will provide remote support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and help maintain a secure, efficient workplace environment.

You'll handle OS updates, software deployments, Active Directory access, and collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on complex issues. This role offers hybrid work in Lisbon, ongoing learning, and opportunities for growth within a global organization.

Qualificações

• Experience in Desktop Support, Service Desk, or IT Support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user-access issues.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and ticketing systems.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Professional level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide remote support for desktop, laptop, and software-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents while ensuring a high level of user satisfaction.
• Support operating system updates, software deployments, and device configurations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on complex technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Support endpoint security solutions and asset lifecycle activities.
• Monitor support queues and ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
