Job summary

stow in Ovar, Portugal, is seeking an L2 Core Systems Support Engineer to restore service quickly and resolve incidents within SLAs. You will support core infrastructure, collaborate with L1/L3 teams and external partners, and contribute to problem management with solid troubleshooting and documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years in system administration, a Bachelor's in IT, ITIL Foundation preferred, and professional English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
3–5 years of system administration/infrastructure support in an enterprise environment.
ITIL Foundation or equivalent ITIL-based processes experience.
Professional English communication is required.

Responsibilities

Resolve incidents from L1 (servers, virtualization, identity, core infrastructure).
Perform structured troubleshooting and document actions and timelines.
Handle identity/access requests per policy with security approvals.
Execute low-risk, pre-approved changes with rollback checks.
Monitor health/capacity, respond to alerts, participate in major incidents.
Escalate to L3 with clear context and recommendations when needed.
Coordinate with vendors/hosting partners and track tickets to closure.
Support patching, backups, and recovery activities; propose automation.
