Job summary

Stadler Digital Labs, the digital competence center for the Stadler Group, is seeking a Platform Support Engineer in Coimbra, Portugal. You will deliver Tier 1/2 support for Stadler Digitalization Platforms with a DevOps focus, handling monitoring, incident response, and playbook documentation.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, apply IaC with Terraform in Azure, and maintain core monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki. Portuguese and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with Jira Service Desk or equivalent incident tracking tools.
• Understanding of SLA frameworks and incident severity classification.
• Ability to follow technical troubleshooting guides and playbooks accurately.
• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes environments with Helm.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line (Tier 1) and Tier 2 technical support for Stadler Digitalization Platforms.
• Monitor applications, investigate incidents, and maintain playbooks.
• Coordinate incident responses and document Root Cause Analyses.
• Collaborate across teams to improve platform health and KPIs.
