We’re looking for a Linux Support Engineer to join a Level 2 Hotline Support team.
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone or email, providing timely support and clear resolutions.
- Carry out remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques, investigating issues across systems, hardware, and software. Identify root causes, collaborate with internal support teams, and guide users on appropriate solutions.
Qualifications
- Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field (or equivalent experience).
- Solid experience with Linux servers, with a good understanding of web and application servers such as Tomcat, Nginx, or Apache. Exposure to high availability frameworks (e.g. Veritas, Monit, RHCS) is a plus.
- Comfortable analyzing logs, troubleshooting issues, and working with scripting languages like Bash or Python in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Clear communication in English, teamwork skills, and a structured, solution‑oriented mindset.
