Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Junior Accounts Receivable / O2C Specialist in Porto to support daily finance activities such as invoice processing and payment allocations. You will work with a skilled team to ensure accurate transactions and efficient customer account handling.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting/finance and 5–7 years in O2C, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience. This hybrid role offers growth in a dynamic, international finance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in O2C, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.

Responsibilities

• Support invoice processing, payment allocation, and customer account updates.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups.
• Review financial documents and verify customer account information.
• Assist with account reconciliations and investigate basic billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and update information in internal systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment and account-related queries.
• Follow established financial procedures, internal controls, and quality standards.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate complex cases to senior colleagues.
• Meet KPIs related to accuracy, productivity, processing times, and quality.
• Participate in training to develop knowledge of finance systems and O2C processes.
